Nominations are sought for outstanding Grand Valley students to receive a Michigan Campus Compact award.
MCC will celebrate 16 years of presenting Outstanding Student Service Awards to students throughout the state who have made true commitments to service. Valerie Jones, assistant director of Student Life, will help review nominations and send top students on to MCC for review.
Nominate a student by visiting the Community Service Learning Center website, www.gvsu.edu/service. Awards will be presented for Commitment to Service, which will recognize two students from each MCC member campus; and Heart and Soul, which will recognize an unlimited number of students.
