Men's Lacrosse competes for national title

The men’s Lacrosse Club at Grand Valley competed for the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association national Division II title on Saturday, May 19. The team competed against the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota and lost in a close game, 9-8.

The team advanced to the national championship after competing against Davenport University and winning, 8-5, in the semi-final game May 17. A video of Grand Valley team goalie Dan Kransberger’s rare end-to-end, unassisted goal during the game was featured on ESPN’s SportsCenter top 10 plays. Check out the goal here:
