College students statewide are invited to Grand Valley’s 15th annual Leadership Summit on Saturday, February 18, from 12:30-8 p.m. in the Kirkhof Center on the Allendale Campus.

Organized by Grand Valley students, the conference offers more than 30 workshops and a leadership case study competition sponsored by Omicron Delta Kappa. Inspirational comedian and speaker Judson Laipply will deliver a keynote presentation, “Make Choices Not Excuses.”

Leadership Summit strives to foster leadership development for undergraduate students in multidisciplinary aspects of campus life. The conference will focus on increasing civic engagement among college students by helping them improve their leadership abilities and increase their awareness of community and social issues.

Leadership Summit attracts more than 300 college students from across the state each year. The registration deadline is Friday, February 3; the cost is $15 for Grand Valley students and $25 for students attending from other universities.

Grand Valley students can qualify for a scholarship to the Leadership Summit. Learn more here.
