Horn was recently named the new
president of the Mid-Atlantic Region for Kaiser Permanente. For the
past 15 years, Horn led the 600,000-member Grand Rapids-based health
insurance company Priority Health, which has annual revenue just above
$2 billion. In 2010, Horn was named a “Woman to Watch” by Crain’s
Detroit Business.
The lecture series is named for Barry Castro who joined Grand
Valley in 1973. He was a champion for ethics, teaching courses on the
topic and establishing the Center for Business Ethics in Seidman
College of Business. The center is a roundtable of CEOs, faculty and
other community leaders who meet together to discuss ethical issues
related to business.
Admission is free and parking is available in the GVSU Fulton
