Grand Valley State University economics expert Hari Singh will
release the findings of his benchmark survey of the regional economy
at a breakfast event January 18. The survey for the greater Grand
Rapids economy (Kent, Ottawa, Muskegon, and Allegan counties) was
conducted in November 2011.
Singh, a professor of economics in Grand Valley’s Seidman
College of Business, will talk about consumer confidence, employment,
sales and export growth. The event is co-sponsored by Colliers International.

will give opening remarks. KC Conway, executive managing director at

a West Michigan market overview.
Panelists from Colliers International include Duke Suwyn, Colin
Kraay, David Wiener and Mark Ansara. Cathy Bronkema, from Cohen
Financial, is also a panelist.
