The Area Studies office, housed in the Brooks College of
Interdisciplinary Studies, kicks off its Global Eyes Film Series on
Wednesday, October 10.
The Middle Eastern film “Koran By Heart,” directed by Greg
Barker, takes place in Cairo, Egypt, and follows three Muslim children
taking part in the global contest of the reading of the Qur’an.
The film will be shown in Mackinac Hall, room 126, from 7-9 p.m.
Refreshments will be offered by Area Studies.
