Six alumni serving in Lansing

Opening day for the Michigan Legislature finds Grand Valley president Thomas J. Haas in the House of Representatives with three of the university's six alumni now serving in Lansing.  Pictured are:

Rep. Foster was named chairman of the House committee on Tourism and Outdoor Recreation, Rep. Genetski will chair the appropriations subcommittee on higher education. Lt. Gov. Calley is the first Grand Valley graduate to be elected to statewide office.
