Series will address diversity, mental health

Students are invited to participate in a three-part series that will address spirituality, mental health, and U.S. and global diversity. Faculty and staff from the Counseling and Career Development Center, Padnos International Center and the Sociology Department will present.

The second part of the Diversity and Inclusion Seminar series will take place on Tuesdays, March 22, 29 and April 5, from 6-8:30 p.m. in the Kirkhof Center. The series is free; sign up once for all three seminars by March 21 at www.gvsu.edu/leadership. Space is limited to 35 spots. While the series was designed for students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.

Sponsored by Laker Leadership Programs, the series offers the campus community the opportunity to learn about valuing and advocating for inclusion and diversity. While the first part of the series has been offered for four years, this is the first year the Laker Leadership Program is providing a second part to the series.
