Nominate students for 'I am Grand Valley'

To recognize student leaders at Grand Valley, faculty and staff are asked to nominate students who display and employ strong leadership skills that affect the campus community.

The Office of Student Life will distribute 1,000 “I Am Grand Valley” shirts and certificates to nominated students, and the only requirement is that nominees be enrolled during the Fall 2011 and Winter 2012 semesters.

The year’s campaign marks the ninth year of “I Am Grand Valley," and is celebrated year round on the first Wednesday of every month when students are asked to wear their “I Am Grand Valley” shirts. The first “I Am Grand Valley” Day will take place October 5.

Nominees will be recognized at the “I Am Grand Valley” Leadership Reception on January 25 during Campus Leadership Week, which is January 23-27, 2012.

Nominations are due December 9 and can be submitted online at www.gvsu.edu/iamgv.
