GVSU students dance to raise funds for local hospital

Students at Grand Valley State University plan to dance through the night to raise funds for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital on October 15.

Going on its fourth year, Dance Marathon at Grand Valley is part of the largest, student-run philanthropy event on college campuses across the country. Students come together to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. The goal is to keep participants standing or dancing for eight hours.

Dance Marathon at Grand Valley
Start: October 15, 6 p.m.
End: October 16, 2 a.m.
Kirkhof Center, Allendale Campus


Participating students will have the opportunity to meet children and families treated at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. Refreshments, live music and games will be provided.

The event is sponsored by Laker Weekends and Phi Mu Fraternity at Grand Valley.
