Student leadership celebrated

The Office of Student Life and the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society have a series of events scheduled for Campus Leadership Week, which runs January 18-22.

Campus Leadership Week will begin by celebrating the leadership legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. today. Other featured events include a "How to Work a Room" networking workshop on Tuesday, January 19, from 5-6:30 p.m. and a student networking reception on Thursday, January 21, from 7-8 p.m.

On Wednesday, January 20, more than 800 student leaders will be celebrated at the "I Am Grand Valley" Leadership Reception. The event will honor "I Am Grand Valley" nominees for their outstanding leadership skills and contributions to our campus community. This event aims to celebrate campus leadership in all disciplines. Faculty and staff members are welcome to attend, refreshments will be provided. The reception is from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the Thornapple Room of Kirkhof Center.
