Registration open for Leadership Summit

College students statewide are invited to Grand Valley’s Leadership Summit on February 12, 2011, from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Kirkhof Center in Allendale.

Organized by Grand Valley students, the conference offers more than 30 workshops, a leadership case study competition sponsored by Omicron Delta Kappa, and a keynote address by Jonathan Sprinkles, acclaimed college speaker and mentor, on “How to be a Change Maker.”

Leadership Summit has something to offer students at every level of leadership and strives to foster leadership development for undergraduate students in multidisciplinary aspects of campus life. The conference will focus on increasing civic engagement among college students by helping them improve their leadership abilities and increase their awareness of community and social issues.

Leadership Summit attracts more than 400 college students from across the state each year. The cost is $15 for Grand Valley students and $25 for students attending from other universities.
