Catherine Frerichs, professor of writing, will read from her new book, Desires of the Heart: A Daughter Remembers Her Missionary Parents, during an event sponsored by the Writing Department.
The reading is set for Wednesday, March 24, at 4 p.m. in the
Kirkhof Center, room 2263.
In the book, Frerichs uses her parents' letters and other
research to write about their 40 years as missionaries in Papua New
Guinea, from her perspective as their daughter.
