Department reports name change

The School of Public and Nonprofit Administration is now known as the School of Public, Nonprofit and Health Administration. The name change became effective January 11.

Sherry Moyer, department coordinator, said student and faculty interest in health administration is equal to that of public and nonprofit administration. She said adding "health" to the name will help prospective students locate courses in health administration, and accreditors may see the name as evidence of the desired status and autonomy of the Master of Health Administration program.
