Rapid Growth will host a panel of area higher education officials to discuss "Higher Ed, Stronger Economy," during an event at Wealthy Theatre in Grand Rapids.
The event, set for Tuesday, April 6, will start at 4:45 p.m. with a networking opportunity, followed by the discussion at 5:15 p.m. It's part of Rapid Growth's Not Your Average Speaker series; panelists will discuss the role of colleges and universities in West Michigan and plans for the future. The event is free and open to the public.
Panelists include Matt McLogan, vice president for University Relations at Grand Valley; Steven Enders, president of Grand Rapids Community College; Oliver Evans, president of Kendall College; Nelson Miller, associate dean of Cooley Law School, Grand Rapids Campus; and Jerry Kooiman, assistant dean for external relations, MSU College of Human Medicine.
