Grand Valley Police have learned the April 13 incident that reportedly
happened near Lake Michigan Hall in which a woman's arm was cut turned
out to be a domestic dispute.
The victim and a witness retracted their original statements and said
the fight happened in an apartment. The victim, who is a non-student,
was treated and released at a local hospital.
The Grand Valley Police Department is turning over the file to the
Ottawa County Prosecutor's office.
