To thank students for their service, faculty and staff members are asked to nominate students who they feel display and utilize strong leadership skills that contribute to the campus community.
The Office of Student Life will distribute up to 1,000 "I Am Grand Valley" shirts and certificates to nominated students. Nominations can be submitted online at www.gvsu.edu/iamgv. The only requirement is that nominees be enrolled during the Fall 2009 and Winter 2010 semesters. The deadline for nominations is November 30.
Next year marks the seventh year of the campaign, which is dedicated to recognizing student leaders on campus. Throughout January, a variety of events and activities will take place to celebrate the involvement of these active students. Nominees and their nominators will be recognized at the "I Am Grand Valley" Leadership Reception on January 20.
