ALLENDALE, Mich. — The Meadows Golf Club at Grand Valley State
University was ranked by Links Magazine as one of the top 25 college
courses in the U.S.
The Meadows was rated No. 22 on the list. Based in Hilton Head Island,
South Carolina, Links Magazine is published six times a year. The Top 25
list is online at www.linksmagazine.com
. The University of Michigan Golf Course was the only other Michigan
course on the list.
“We’re very proud of this recognition and what it says not only about
the golf course but also about our broader educational mission,” said
Terry Sack, general manager of the Meadows. “Our goal has been to be a
place for healthy and enjoyable recreation and a common ground for
students, alumni, faculty and the community.”
Other colleges and universities recognized include Oklahoma State,
Yale, Stanford, Duke, Purdue, Wisconsin and the U.S. Air Force Academy.
