Arnold "Arn" Boezaart, interim director of the Michigan
Alternative and Renewable Energy Center at Grand Valley State
University, was appointed to the Great Lakes Wind Council by Gov.
Jennifer Granholm for a term expiring September 1, 2009.
The Great Lakes Wind Council is an advisory body within the Department
of Energy, Labor, and Economic Growth that provides citizens with a
public forum to begin to identify where, in the Great Lakes, wind energy
systems may be prudently sited.
