The 5th annual Grand Valley State University International Trumpet Seminar brings some of the most outstanding trumpet artists to perform and instruct students from middle school age through adult, with a full week of performances on the Allendale Campus, also open to the public.
The seminar kicks off July 19, with a collage concert from 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the Louis Armstrong Theatre, Performing Arts Center. Featured performers include Artistic Director Richard Stoelzel and faculty members Kevin Maloney, Jean Moorehead Libs, Paul Mueller and collaborative pianist Rebecca Wilt with special appearances by trumpet greats Rex Richardson and Vince DiMartino. Admission is free for this performance; others have a nominal admission charge.
