GVSU co-sponsors author visit to Holland

Kevin Carroll, author of the book "Rules of the Red Rubber Ball," will give a talk in Holland that is sponsored in part by Grand Valley State University. Carroll works to help people harness the power of sport, creativity and play as a vehicle for chasing and achieving their dreams.

Carroll speaks from 4-5:30 p.m. April 1 at West Ottawa Public School Performing Arts Center, 1024 136th Ave. in Holland. Tickets are $35 and $20 for students and are available through the Holland Area Arts Council, (616) 396-3278 or www.hollandarts.org .
