ALLENDALE, Mich. -- A farmers market will return to Grand Valley's
Allendale Campus on June 10 and run weekly each Wednesday through
September 30.
The market will run from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in parking lot F, near the
Fieldhouse. It’s open to the public, in addition to faculty and staff
members, and students. About 10 area vendors are expected to participate
weekly, offering fresh produce, breads, jerky, flowers and other
homemade items.
Campus Dining will sell light lunches weekly that are made from a
vendor’s produce. Other events planned include live music, raffles and
fitness treks coordinated by Grand Valley’s Health and Wellness department.
