Day of Caring service opportunities available

The Women’s Center will sponsor several opportunities for faculty and staff members to participate in the National Day of Service on Friday, September 11.

Volunteers can paint soup bowls for Catholic Charities’ annual fundraiser, Soups on For All, from 9 a.m.-noon at the 303 Division Ave. office. Girl Scouts of Michigan, on Walker Avenue, will host volunteers for a deck repair from 1:30-4:30 p.m. The Children’s Enrichment Center will host a clean-up from 2-4 p.m.
