Counseling Center participates in depression screening

Grand Valley's Counseling and Career Development Center will offer free, anonymous screenings for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder on National Depression Screening Day.


The screenings will take place on Thursday, October 8, at various sites on campus. Participants will be asked to fill out a questionnaire before talking with a counselor. Online screenings will be available through the center's Web site. Screenings will be at the following locations and times:

 


• Campus Recreation Center, 4-6 p.m.
• Counseling Center, Student Services Building room 204, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Kirkhof Center lobby, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
• Kleiner Commons, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
• Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
• DeVos Center student project area, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
