A group of 15 staffers from the offices of Michigan's U.S. senators and
representatives visited Muskegon to tour Grand Valley State University
facilities that focus on energy and environmental issues.
The congressional staff tour visited the Michigan Alternative and
Renewable Energy Center and Annis Water Resources Institute, both in
Muskegon. The delegation also visited the den Dulk Dairy Farm's cow
manure-to-energy plant, which was developed in conjunction with MAREC.
