Relay for Life, will be held in the Fieldhouse Arena on April 3-4. Each
year, nearly 2,000 members of the campus community participate in the
overnight event, which runs from 6 p.m.-6 a.m.
Colleges Against Cancer at GVSU invites faculty and staff members to
participate. The fundraiser serves the American Cancer Society, and has
become a tradition at Grand Valley. The campus community has raised more
than $500,000 since the event was first held nine years ago.
The goal for this year's event, which has a Hollywood theme, is $95,000.
So far, more than $30,000 has been raised through online donations.
