Seidman College of Business is holding a series of events to help people understand the current financial crisis -- including one for faculty and staff.

“The Seidman College of Business is home to faculty experts who understand the changes the U.S. economy is going through. We are fortunate to be able to share this level of expertise beyond the classroom and provide a venue for people to become better informed,” said Dean H. James Williams.

This presentation will help participants understand what happened and what they can do to protect themselves. Topics will include how the crisis got started, what the federal government is doing to stablize the economy, what it will cost, and rules for financial survival.

The session is part of a series of “emergency” events will feature Seidman faculty members who are well versed in the areas of banking, investments, housing market issues, and federal regulation, along with members of the Grand Rapids business community.
