GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Citing "cutting edge classes" and solid
preparation in accounting and management, Grand Valley State
University's Seidman College of Business was included in the new
Princeton Review list of the top business schools in the country.
Seidman College of Business was included in Princeton Review’s new
“Best 296 Business Schools” publication, which was released this week.
The Princeton Review compiled the lists based on its surveys of 19,000
students attending the 296 business schools listed, and on
school-reported data.
Among the student comments were praise for Grand Valley’s small class
sizes and first-rate faculty members who are “very astute, visionary,
shrewd, capable and highly qualified.”
The Princeton Review has posted the ranking lists and information on
how they are compiled at www.PrincetonReview.com. The ranking lists are
based on surveys of business school students during the 2007-08,
2006-07, and 2005-06 academic years. Students answer an 80-question
survey that asks them about their school’s academics, student body and
campus life, themselves, and their career plans. School profiles in
“Best 296 Business Schools” cover admissions, academics, financial aid,
campus life and career information. Introductory chapters offer
information and advice on funding the degrees, taking the LSAT and GMAT,
applying to schools and excelling at them.
The Princeton Review is a New York City-based education services
company known for its test-prep courses, education programs, admission
services, and 200 books published by Random House.
