GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A month before the next president of the United
States is sworn into office, scholars from all over the country will

and lows in the Gallup poll’s public approval ratings, ranging from 90-
to 28-percent. Grand Valley State University’s Hauenstein Center for
Presidential Studies will host leading scholars as they weigh in with
their early assessment.
The event kicks off with a keynote address by Rufus Fears on Thursday,
November 13, at 7 p.m., in Loosemore Auditorium at the DeVos Center on
Grand Valley's Pew Grand Rapids Campus.
Panel discussions will take place Friday, November 14, in Loosemore
Auditorium at the DeVos Center, 401 W. Fulton, on Grand Valley’s Pew
