To accommodate a larger audience, Teresa Rodriguez’s presentation on
Monday, September 17, has been moved to Loutit Lecture Hall room 103,
and an overflow room with a live feed will be Loutit 102. The event was
scheduled for Cook-DeWitt Center.
Rodriguez, a Univision correspondent, has investigated the death of
hundreds of poor, young women and girls who have been found in the
fields and dumps in Juarez, a small city across the Rio Grande from El
Paso, Texas. The body count continues to climb. Rodriguez will share
what she has learned, why we should care, and what can be done to stop
the murders.
This Hispanic Heritage Month events is sponsored by Grand Valley’s
