The West Michigan Science & Technology Development Initiative at Grand Valley State University is holding a product development seminar on June 22.
The event is called "Stop Developing New Products! Start Developing New Businesses!" The date of the seminar is June 22, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences. A continental breakfast and networking lunch will be provided to attendees. Cost to attend is $22.
The speaker, Mike Suman of Product and Market Development LLC, will address product development and creating market pull instead of trying to push a new product through your own company and then into the market. There will also be a panel of experts moderated by Matt Dugener of WMSTI. Panelists will include Mike Morin of KnowWare, Gary Wruble of Soy Ultima, Louis Weijers of ATEK Medical and independent meeting and seminar facilitator John Canfield.
