Tea party includes tradition of political discussion

The centuries-old tradition of combining tea parties with discussions of literature or politics will be revived at an event hosted by the Women's Center.

The tea party is scheduled for Wednesday, March 15, from 4-5 p.m. in the Kirkhof Center, room 204. Ingrid Weekly Scott, equal opportunity director for the City of Grand Rapids, will lead discussion on the Michigan Civil Rights Initiative.
