Student Senate chooses faculty to give 'Last Lectures'

Three faculty members will lecture as if it were their last chance during a Student Senate event this week.

Michael Ott, assistant professor of sociology; Diane Moadush-Pitzer, visiting professor of liberal studies; and Steeve Buckridge, associate professor of history, will present their last lectures on Wednesday, March 15, from 7-9 p.m. in Henry Hall's Loutit Lecture Hall 102.

Elizabeth Burnside, Student Senate member, said the event is an opportunity to build community between faculty and students outside the classroom. Students nominate which professors they would like to see present and a senate committee selects three.
