Scholarship contest raises money for MS

The Office of Student Life is sponsoring the Mary J. Szczepanski "Never Give Up" Scholarship. The scholarship, named in memory of Mary J. Szczepanski, was created in 1997 by Richard Szczepanski to honor the memory of his mother who lived with Multiple Sclerosis for 38 years. His wife, also named Mary, has now lived with the disease for 16 years.

Any student who raises at least $400 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is entered into a drawing to win a $500 scholarship. Pledging begins at Campus Life Night on September 5 and ends by 5PM on October 9, 2006.
