This major artist was born into a musical family and has made her home in Germany since 1992. She is known to American audiences chiefly by her distinguished recordings of repertoire, ranging from Bach to Stravinsky. Many of these have been awarded prizes by such publications as the American Record Guide and the music magazine SCALA.
