U.S. Sen. Carl Levin, D-Detroit, will meet with area senior citizens on Monday, February 20, to address their concerns about the Medicare prescription drug plan.
The meeting is scheduled from 9:45-10:30 a.m. in the Eberhard Center, room 215, at Grand Valley State University's Pew Grand Rapids Campus. Levin will join Jo Murphy, from the Area Agency on Aging West Michigan Chapter, at a meeting of the Grand Forum.
The Grand Forum is an education outreach program of GVSU's Continuing Education Department. Grand Forum members are age 55 and older; they meet throughout the year to hear and participate in discussions about current events, arts, history and business.
About 75 people are expected at Monday's meeting.
