Lecture targets animal fighting

National and local experts will talk about the crimes of animal fighting during a lecture sponsored by several campus departments.

John Goodwin, an animal fighting expert from the Humane Society of the United States in Washington D.C., and Matt Pepper, senior animal control supervisor for Kent County Animal Shelter, will speak at 7 p.m. on April 13 in the Loosemore Auditorium of the DeVos Center.

The event is sponsored by the Criminal Justice Department, Criminal Justice Education Center, American Humanics, Spotlight Productions and student organization Animal Care Takers.
