GVSU experts on gubernatorial debates

ALLENDALE, Mich.-- The economy, jobs, China, education and health care are just a few of the topics expected to be debated between Gov. Jennifer Granholm and Republican gubernatorial candidate Dick DeVos. Three debates have been scheduled: Oct. 2 in Lansing, Oct. 10 in Grand Rapids, and Oct. 16 in Detroit.

The following Grand Valley State University experts are available to comment before and after each debate.

    Singh is known for his annual economic forecast for West Michigan -- a forecast that has become a much-anticipated benchmark of the local market. Singhs book Framed was recently reviewed in the New York Times.
