GRPS superintendent will speak to GVSU students

Bernard Taylor, superintendent of Grand Rapids Public Schools, will speak to Grand Valley State University education students this week. Taylor will address students, most of whom are teachers, in a master's level course that focuses on race, class and language.

Taylor is scheduled to speak Thursday, September 14, from 6-7 p.m. in room 415 of the Eberhard Center on the Pew Grand Rapids Campus.

Taylor will talk about his vision for Grand Rapids Public Schools and get input from teachers about the success of K-12 education.
