The first Alumni College, planned for June 9-11, offers Grand Valley alumni and friends opportunities to enroll in special academic programs and enjoy the on-campus experience.
Participants will visit the Allendale and Pew Grand Rapids campuses and experience today's Grand Valley from the viewpoint of current students. Alumni College: "Enlightenment, Information, Inspiration" will offer informative courses (without quizzes) taught by Grand Valley faculty in writing, engineering, performing arts, history, business, health sciences and others.
Participants will sleep and eat on campus; special events are planned throughout the weekend. People interested can visit the Web site www.gvsu.edu/alumni, look for the Alumni College icon.
