Four graduates finish government training

Four Grand Valley graduates have completed a two-year internship sponsored by the Defense Logistics Agency in Battle Creek.

Pamela Peterson, James George, Daniel E. Schuemann and Val Molina received their certificate of completion in June. They are now working for the Defense Logistics Information Service and the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service.

The course prepares entry-level personnel for advancement to mid-level positions in professional, administrative and technical career fields.

Peterson graduated in 2004 with a degree in computer science. She now works as an information technology specialist for DLIS. Schuemann earned a bachelor's degree in marketing in 2003. He is now working for DRMS as a contract specialist. George earned a bachelor's degree in information systems and a master's degree in computer information systems. Molina graduated in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in computer science and now works for DLIS as an information technology specialist.
