Departments sponsor programs for women

Two discussions focusing on hormones and sexuality in mid- and late-life continue the "Women Connecting" series of programs that is sponsored by five campus departments.

"Common Bond: Hormones" will be presented by Gayla Jewell, assistant professor of nursing, from noon-1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, in room 215/216 of the Kirkhof Center. Jewell will discuss hormone replacement therapy and other aging changes.

"New Expectations: Sexuality Education for Mid and Later Life" is scheduled from noon-1 p.m. on January 25 in room 123 of the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences. Jan Lunquist, co-author of three books, will discuss sexuality issues for women who are near or above middle age.
