The purple shirt signifies Relay For Life and the hope for a cure and the white shoes are GVSU's way of supporting the Coaches vs. Cancer campaign. The coaches will all be sporting their white shoes at the games.

Grand Valley Athletics has made Wednesday, February 22, Relay for Life
Cancer Awareness Day. Game attendees are asked to show your support by
wearing a purple shirt and white tennis shoes to the game this Wednesday
against Saginaw Valley State University at 6 and 8 pm.
