Awards for teaching excellence presented

The Pew Faculty Teaching and Learning Center announced the winners of the 2006 Pew Teaching Excellence Award.

Awards are presented at the annual Awards Banquet, held on April, 10. The winners are Majd Al-Mallah, Modern Languages and Literatures; Bradley Ambrose, physics; William Crawley, criminal justice; Steve Glass, movement science; Mark Richards, political science; and Brad Wallar, chemistry.

The awards were established to recognize excellence in teaching from around the university. Nominations can come from students, alumni, faculty or the academic unit.
