Gayla Jewell, assistant professor of nursing, and Julia Mason, visiting assistant professor of women and gender studies, will talk about the Interdisciplinary Nicaragua Initiative, in which university students and faculty work directly with the people of Miraflor on health, nutrition, education and economic development.
The discussion will run from noon-1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, in the Amway Board Room, fifth floor of the DeVos Center. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunches.
