Jenson plays Carnegie Hall

Eminent American violinist and Distinguished Professor of Music Dylana Jenson will perform the demanding Goldmark Violin Concerto with the Grand Rapids Symphony at Carnegie Hall on May 21. The trip is in celebration of the Symphony's 75th season, which opened with Jenson's performance.

This is her fourth appearance at Carnegie Hall, having performed previously with the Philadelphia Orchestra, which was broadcast on national television, with the Baltimore Symphony, and in a solo recital.

"I'm excited about the hundreds of people from our very large Grand Rapids Symphony family making the trip to New York City for this performance, said Jenson. "I'm also happy to have my personal family members and friends coming from as far away as California and my mother's family from Costa Rica."

Jenson is married to the Symphony's Music Director, David Lockington, who will be conducting the symphony during their Carnegie Hall performance.
