The day culminates when the undefeated Lakers take the field at Lubbers Stadium to play against Northen Michigan University.

- Super Science Saturday is a full day of free science fun for K-12 students, teachers, parents, and the entire community. The event is in conjunction with the yearlong series of activities celebrating the World Year of Physics 2005 at Grand Valley. It runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and nearly every lab and classroom in Padnos and Henry halls on the Allendale Campus will be filled with hands-on activities. Visitors will experience how physics connects with all areas of science including biology, chemistry, geology, health sciences, mathematics, statistics, engineering and more.
- Dance Stars of the New Millennium IV is the final event in the Fall Arts Celebration. It features dancers from America's foremost ballet companies. There will be two performances of the sold-out gala program: Friday, October 28, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 29, at 2 p.m., in the Louis Armstong Theatre, Performing Arts Center, Allendale Campus. Ticket information is available at (616) 331-2300. Prices are $20 general public; $10 Grand Valley faculty/staff/students with a GVSU ID; $5 children ages 12 and under.
