Group trained to conduct Intergroup Dialogues

More than 20 faculty and staff members were trained to conduct Intergroup Dialogues that focus on diversity.

Diana Pace, associate dean of students, said Michael Spencer, professor of social work at the University of Michigan, trained the group during two sessions in October and November. Faculty and staff members interested in participating in winter semester Intergroup Dialogues can contact Susan Mendoza-Jones, College of Interdisciplinary Studies director of integrative learning, at x18655.

Participants included Nanette Reynolds, Bart Merkle, Dawn Schavey, Susan Mendoza-Jones, Takeelia Garratt-Lynn, Kathleen Blumreich, Andy Beachnau, Chris Plouff, Rachel Damm, Meghan Harte, Sharalle Arnold, Lois Owens, Cathie Rikkers-Jones, Donna Henderson-King, Barbara Palombi, Pam Miller, Pat Oldt, Wendy Wenner, Oliver Wilson, Michelle Burke, Harriet Singleton, Ellen Herion, Tom Butcher and Benardo Dargan.
