By directing their gifts, donors are deciding for themselves how their gifts will help students and the university community. To date, 142 different funds have received support through the campaign.
The funds with the highest total gifts to date are as follows:
- Grand Valley Fund ($11,684)
- Homeland Defense Initiative Training ($11,500)
- Computer Science and Information Fund ($5,780)
- WGVU Radio ($5,683)
- Engineering Building 2005 Campaign ($5,250)
- Plant Service Personnel Descendants Scholarship Endowment ($3,958)
The funds supported by the most donors so far are:
- Grand Valley Fund (86 donors)
- WGVU Radio (60)
- WGVU TV (48)
- Plant Service Personnel Descendants Scholarship Endowment (38)
- Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Scholarship (20)
- Clerical Office Technical Association Scholarship Endowment (17)
The campaign's Faculty and Staff Advisory Cabinet set a goal of 50 percent participation and many areas across campus already have exceeded this level. Work groups with at least 60 percent participation include: Alumni Relations Office, Padnos College of Engineering and Computing Dean's Office, Regional Math and Science Center, University Development Office and Women's Center.
