U.S. Rep. Vern Ehlers (right) met with Astrit Bushati, a member of the Albanian parliament to discuss relations between the two nations. Bushati was in town visiting his brother-in-law, Arber Ben Mandija (left), a student in Grand Valley's master's physical therapy program who is set to graduate this spring.
Also present at the meeting were Ehlers staff member Nancy Ostopowicz and GVSU Vice President for University Relations Matt McLogan, both of whom worked to help make it possible for Mandija to come to Grand Valley.
